this micro-city is made with natural clay and seeds.It placed in a srping where the water varied with the rain. Durring 20 days the natur take place in the city. The small scale of the model makes also a variation of the time scale.

this video have been done in Farrera, a 25 souls' village where I was in residency for one month. The time lapse video is  shooted in 2 times. Once before srping, and the other 3 weeks later. The video is an acceleration of 2 time 2 hours where I'm doing a very slow body movement. Clouds are running over my head, ants are running on the stone, and when I breath out , the spring is already here with flowers and leaves on trees.

It's my perception of the cycle of saisons, the living rhythm that we have when we are out of cities, and start to look at the natur around us.

natural rhythm is an boddy performance, trying to get closer to the natur. Breathing together, anderstand unvisible rhythms, feel it and performe it. It have been done after 3 days of "movement in natur" workshop with Anna Rubio.

during "Marseille2013" european capital of cultur, I was in artistique residency at " Yes We Camp". It was a project of an eco-soscio-artistico-upcycling-utopian -urban camping and more! We were between the dock and a huge parking and i creat this machine to put a little bit of color on the asphalt. After have painted the dock ( in video) I make an enormous one on the parking. But the municipality ask me to clean it. It took me 3 days. Time to think about others rainbow bike machines.

for the second rainbow bike, I worked with upcycled bicycle's pieces only. The topic was  the childhood. The color is chalk powder, remenbering me whene we drew on the pavement with chalks ( and easy to clean). I was realy happy after perfomed in the street to see children running on the rainbow line. I thought "This machine will not change the world but if peoples are smilling , it's a begening."

The 3rd version of rainbow bike work like a music box but with colors. On a cyclinder you can creat a melody woh will become a colorfull parterne. The problem was that the "melody" was a noisy mecanicle tempo. I replace it by a  home made rhythm of the painting drops and edited the video on it.

"seeding bicycle" is a sowing machine how works with the bicycle's power. It was created for the "Garilla Gardening" (it is the act of gardening on land that the gardeners do not have the legal rights to utilize).  This powerfull poetical wearpon throws some seeds on pavements with the hope to bring a little bit of natur in cities' streets.

micro-gardens

Micro-gardens is a work created in my first artistic residency "SERDE". It was in Aizpute, a small town of Latvia where are some allotment gardens. Gardeners how have a very small piece of land are trying to grow the must beautyfull and bigest vegetables. They loved their gardens so much , that the first time I was there , they thought I was a thief and almost call the police. Finaly, we became freinds and I decided to make a video how talk about those ambitious gardeners, their beatifull green housses, saisons' rhythms and harvests...

H.L.M. hier, lendemain, maintenant

H.L.M. is the french abreviation for " low rent housing" and  "hier,lendemain, maintenant" can be translated by "yesterday, tomorrow, now". The work asking about how are building the cities. How long will stay these "bigs boxes for humans" and what they will become after.

It's a thinking on where we want to live and what is our  environment impact.

the 6th day, is one of my first time-lapse experience. It based on two ideas: the famous saying " When the Last Tree Is Cut Down, the Last Fish Eaten, and the Last Stream Poisoned, You Will Realize That You Cannot Eat Money" and a part of the bible's genesis how say that after 5 days of creation, God gives all the living creaturs to Human being, "and so it was".
